What about omega-3?

If you prefer leaner fish, some wild salmon will fit that preference; if you value a richer texture, farmed Atlantic salmon often provides it. The most accurate comparison is specific: identify the species and product, then look at the actual fat, calories, omega-3 information when available, price, and cooking qualities that matter to you.

Price can vary as much as nutrition. Wild salmon may command a premium in some seasons, while farmed Atlantic salmon is often available year-round at a more stable cost.
